THE MEDICAL TERMINAL CASES SUPPORT UNIT

Nature of the unit:

“The medical terminal cases support unit” in the organization is directly managed by Dr. Etman, it accepts terminal cases who have no hope any more, at this point the organization duty starts.

Dr. Etman using his medical background to start communication with the top research institutes and top surgeons according to the nature of the case and try to find a hope for these people.

Funding of the cases & organization fees:

This service is 100% free and the organization does not charge patients any fees.

In some cases GLF support part of the cost in case the patient cannot pay all the expensive cost for his medical treatment or expensive multiple operations.

The organization support a part of the cost only in case of the patient does not have any more money and after having big part of the job already done.

The organization support is paid either directly through the donations of Dr. Etman.

GLF accept maximum one or two cases every year. Some of the cases need few years work for each case and GLF does not have the ability either time wise of financially to accept or help more than this limited number.

GLF funded the cases with few hundred thousand pounds and Dr Etman paid directly from his private funds around 300.000 £ to support these cases of GLF to cover hospital fees as well as other few thousands for transportation of the case to and from the airport or hospital, accommodations and some other small financial support.

GLF supported 23 cases since the creation of the medical unit in 2009, around 12 cases still alive until now.

GLF does not accept either public donation or any governmental funds. Only the private donations of Dr Etman.
